Joaquin ISD Fishing Team Results

Joaquin ISD has scheduled a Substitute Teacher Training and Orientation on Thursday, February 12, 10:00 at the JISD Administration office. This will probably be the last training scheduled for the 2025-2026 school year. If interested please make every effort to attend. The next training will be held in June for the 2026-2027 school year in which all active substitutes will be required to attend. Qualifications are high school diploma or GED, clear criminal history background, and attendance to training each year. You may submit your application online via the Joaquin ISD website. Today Friday Feb. 6, 2026 is National Wear Red Day to celebrate and support Heart Health!
All Joaquin Campuses participated by wearing Red to support this cause. Here are just a few of our students who participated.

February is Dental Health Month. Joaquin Elementary first grade students were nominated by the Joaquin Masonic Lodge to receive a dental presentation and free preventative tooth decay kits. The program is sponsored by the Fantastic Teeth Fan Club and Masonic Home and School of Texas. On Monday Feb. 2, 2026, Mr. Vance Jordan and Mr. Robert Wallrath from the Joaquin Masonic Lodge attended to help nurse Melanie explain the importance of your teeth and gave a demonstration on how to brush. Each student then received a dental kit from the Masons. We would like to say Thank You to the Joaquin Masonic Lodge for always providing this program for our First Grade Students.
