The goal of these flyers is to educate school personnel who may not be as familiar with the McKinney-Vento Federal Act and all the requirements it provides for students experiencing homelessness, regardless of documentation status. It can also be a good resource for parents and students.
This informs families who can benefit from knowing their rights under McKinney-Vento.
In addition to identifying the rights provided under the federal act, there is a QR code at the bottom left corner of the flyer, which takes you to a Linktree of resources, including:
